I know some labs use a white noise generator to create a background level of noise so the animals don’t get startled by any abrupt ambient noises. What do you think? Good idea, bad idea? I started to use one and it seems the mice are more relaxed and less bothered by sounds of doors or footsteps from the surrounding Lab.

Hi. I do use it. I found a level that blocked out ambient noise but wasn’t too loud. I don’t have a set quantified value but I keep it the same all the time.
