In an effort to share protocols amongst pain researchers, I’ve created a group over at [protocols.io](https://www.protocols.io/groups/pain-researcher-protocols/protocols), which is an excellent platform for sharing information about how you do your science.

I will start putting up some of my own protocols in the next few weeks. I encourage all pain researchers to do the same. Some benefits include:

- Public discussion about key points, so you don’t need to repeat yourself via email or even in person
- Easily share protocols with colleagues and group members
- Link to your publications so that readers can see a more detailed version of your methods
- Improve reproducibility between investigators
