Hi all! I need to keep some rat sciatic nerves in storage for a couple months and I’m wondering what’s the best way of doing that, as I’m new to this. Some have suggested using cryoprotectants like glycerol-dmso and storage at -80C. Any suggestions are welcome! Thanks.
Can you provide more detail about how the tissues were preserved? Are they fresh? PFA-fixed? What are your end applications?
Have worked with sciatic nerves in the past. Would be great if you can share what experiments you are planning to do from the stored nerves??
