Has anyone done a tone-pain conditioning task specifically using a laser to administer pain in mice? I’m curious to know the parameters (i.e. how long tone was played for, what intensity of the laser was used, what kind of laser, etc) and what has worked for people.

I came across this paper time ago Assessment of Aversion of Acute Pain Stimulus through Conditioned Place Aversion It’s conditioning to place with laser stimulation, not to a tone, but the protocol is very detailed.
